Big Women

Digital photography, 2017 - 2018

By using digital retouching, I photographed narrative pictures of a gigantic woman and a tiny man. Containing a metaphoric meaning, these pictures skew the power dynamics in the improbable, fairytale-like scenes that women are much more authoritative. Besides the sense of playfulness, they also speak an irony of the imbalance gender relation, implying that both counterparts of males and females should be in the equal states.
